Kimdir Pepee?
Pepee 4-6 yaş grubu çocuklara öncelikli olarak seslenen bunun
yanı sıra 3-9 yaş aralığındaki çocuklarımıza hitap eden bir karakter. Aile
yapısı, konuşması ve mizacı ile tam bir Türk çocuğu.

İsmi Niye
Pepee?
Anadolu’da pek çok kişinin bildiği üzere kekeleyerek, biraz bozuk
konuşanlara ‘pepe’ denir; ‘pepeliyor’ diye dalga geçilir. Bizim oğlumuz da
bölümlere yeni başladığında biraz pepeliyordu. Çocuklara düzgün konuşmayı
öğretmek üzere seçtiğimiz model artık gelişti ve doğru model oluşturabilecek
düzeye geldi. Filmlerin başındaki nidaya da gönderme yaparak adı Pepee
kaldı!

Pepee'nin Eğitici Yönü
Bu haşarı Türk çocuğunu ve izleyenlerini
Kıraç’ın coşkulu müziği eşliğinde eğlendirirken eğitici değeri için de titiz bir
çalışma yürüttük. Prof. Dr. Sabiha Paktuna Keskin önderliğinde, eğitim danışmanı
akademisyenlerden oluşan bir kadro ile ‘Pepee’yi bir sene boyunca izleyen bir
çocuğun öğrenmiş olacakları’nı bir tabloda netleştirdik. Bölümlerimiz bu
müfredat çerçevesinde oluşturulmakta. Bu omurga üzerine inşa edilen
bölümlerimiz, hem bizim danışman kurulumuz hem de TRT Çocuk Kanalı tarafından
sahne sahne, kelime kelime incelenmektedir.
